What Do the Different Parts of Plants

Roots

act as straws roots can absorb water and minerals from the soil. Tiny stick root hairs from the root helps absorption. Roots help the plant in the ground so as not to drop anchor. Roots also store extra food for later use.

Attacks

Stems many things to do. They claim the plant. Act as a water system of the plant, conduct water and nutrients from the roots and the food in the form of glucose from the leaves to other parts of plants. Stems can be herbaceous like the tribe as a daisy or folding wooden trunk of an oak tree.

Sheets

Most plant foods are made in their leaves. Sheets are designed to sunlight that the plant uses to capture food goes through a process called photosynthesis.

Flores

Flowers are the reproductive part of most plants. The flowers contain pollen and tiny eggs called ova. After the flower pollination and fertilization of the egg, the egg becomes a fruit.

Fruit

Fruit provides a cover for seed. Fleshy fruit is as hard as an apple or a nut.

Seeds

The seeds contain new plants. The seeds are formed on the fruit.
